Roots On 9th

Really nice, quiet plant nursery. I was stunned at the condition of everything they had. All of the plants looked so consistently healthy and well cared for. Great selection of annuals and tropical plants. I wish they had a few more perennials, but what they did have I have yet to see other places sell. My only wish is that they would have more labeling and pricing on the plants. As a newbie to gardening and plants it was a little difficult to make sense of it all, but the two ladies were very approachable and can help out if need be. Really happy to see a small business like this nearby, you can tell they’re really good at what they do and the whole place feels like a small botanical garden when you first walk in.

We were extremely disappointed with Roots on 9th. We ordered an orchid arrangement for our sister that will be having surgery. The plant arrived but only contained one orchid, not two like their website picture. It also did not contain the stone around the plant like the website picture. Lastly, the roots were sticking out. Upon reaching out to Roots on 9th, they replied that the website states that products may vary from the images. They offered that our sister could drive to their store, and they will add stone to the container. What a ridiculous response! Right, someone needing surgery is supposed to drive to the store to partially correct the store's error. When I shared my candid reply back to the store, they finally agreed to include a 2nd orchid and the proper stone. They arrived later that day. The 2nd orchid has no flower and is basically a stick. Stone was added. The person was EXTREMELY rude. We will never use Roots on 9th again, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Buying flowers should not be this painful and complicated. Our sister laughed when she saw the original plant, and it was a struggle filled with frustration to get partial resolutio

Such a cute and wonderful little flower shop. They have so many different plants and all priced nicely. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with finding what I was looking for. I will definitely have to stop by again for more plants because I am definitely hooked on this. They also have classes that they teach there. Such a wonderful place.

We had Roots on 9th do the flowers for our wedding and everything was AMAZING!! They matched my dream flowers perfectly and it made everything look so beautiful! We got so many compliments on the arrangements! Jamie and her team were super easy to work with, very flexible, and were able to answer all my questions or make recommendations when I wasn’t sure what to do. I would highly recommend working with them for your event!!
